Building a pipe composes the data using the entire data set to show the most recent calculations in the row viewer.

For example, you added the Filter tool to your pipe to filter out all customers who are over the age of 55. After applying the Filter tool, click Build to build the data set again to get the data you need.

After building the entire data set, toggle from Preview to Last built to see the most up to date calculations.
