Save a copy of your data based on the last calculation. The snapshot stays the same when you export a pipe with new data.
When to use this tool
Use when you want to keep a historical record of your data.
You can also use this to save a data set state before transforming the data.
Configuration
Use the following configuration options to help configure the Snapshot tool.
Go to the Pipes module from the side navigation bar.
From the Pipes tab, click an existing pipe to open, or create a new pipe. To create a new pipe, read the Creating a pipe documentation.
In your Pipe builder add your data source.
On the canvas toolbar, click
+ Tool.In the Tools modal search bar, type Snapshot.
Tip
You can also find the Snapshot tool in the Data section.
Click + Add Tool.
Connect the tool to your dataset.
You've now saved a copy of your data based on the last calculation.
